What is a TLD?
This is a "Top Level Domain", the part after the last dot of a domain name.
There are two different types of TLD's, the gTLD and the ccTLD. gTLD stands
for generic Top Level Domain, and ccTLD stands for country code Top Level Domain.
Each TLD has its own registration authority, some of them are well known, like
Afilias, NeuLevel or so on. This registries are responsible for the assigned
namespace.
Do I have to pay attention about the TLD?
No. You can decide for any TLD. We have an automated registration process
and we care about the special conditions of the respective registries.
You also never should get an invoice for a renewal or registration fee,
if you host along with us.

It is only possible to register offered TLD's as shown in the drop down menu.
